The 2026 ASID conference brings together a wide range of people interested in furthering the rights and improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. They include, researchers, advocates, policymakers, service providers, families and self-advocates with intellectual disabilities.

Over two days it will be a place to share new research, discuss ideas and hear about new service and policy developments.

How to register for ASID 2026

Complete the online form

Step 1: Choose if you are buying 1 ticket or a group of tickets

Step 2: Fill in your details (your name, email, etc.). Make sure all information is correct

Step 3: Select your membership type. You’ll need to tell us if you are an ASID member or not.

Step 4: Choose Your Registration Type (full registration, day registration, student registration, concession registration or support person registration)

Step 5: Tell us if you will attend the welcome reception and the conference dinner.

Step 6: book accommodation if you want to. You can skip this step if you are going to make your own arrangements

Step 7: Pay the registration fee. You can pay by credit card or by bank transfer

Step 8: Check your email. When you’ve completed the form you’ll receive an email with all the details.

Things to remember when you register:

  • If you are a student and want a student ticket, you’ll need to tell us your univeristy or school name
  • If you are a concession card holder and want to get a concession ticket at a cheaper price, you’ll need to tell us which concession card you have
  • Payment methods accepted are credit cards or EFT transfers.
  • If you choose to pay via EFT, payment details are located on the tax invoice you’ll be emailed.
  • You must pay for your ticket at least 14 days prior to conference. If you don’t pay by the cutoff date, your ticket may be cancelled.
