Under the 2026 theme Capability, strength and resilience in a changing world, the Convention will explore how Australian steel can strengthen domestic manufacturing capability, remain competitive amid global uncertainty, and respond confidently to accelerating economic, technological and policy change. Sessions will address sustainability and decarbonisation pathways, trade and anti-dumping settings, supply chain resilience, workforce capability, investment and innovation; all critical to securing a strong national industry.
Connect with peers across the steel value chain, gain practical market and policy insights, and be part of the national conversation shaping the future of Australian steel.

How to register for the 2026 Australian Steel Convention
Complete the online form
Step 1: Select if you are buying 1 ticket or a group of tickets.
Step 2: Fill in your details (attendee name, email, etc.).
Step 3: Select your membership type.
Step 4: Choose your registration type. You can select if you will:
- Attend the full convention (FULL registration)
- Attend one day only (DAY registration)
- Only attend the Fabricator Forum
- Only attend a pre or post convention technical tour
Attendees electing FULL or DAY convention registrations will be asked further along in the process if they will attend the Fabricator Forum or a Technical Tour.
Step 5: Select if you will attend the welcome reception and the conference dinner.
Step 6: Select if you will attend the Fabricator Forum
Step 7: Select if you will attend a Technical Tour
Step 8: Book accommodation onsite at Hilton Adelaide. You can skip this step if you are going to make your own arrangements
Step 9: Review a summary of your registration and associated attendance and elect to pay by credit card or by invoice.
Step 10: Check your email. When you’ve completed the form you’ll receive an email with all the details.
